Hydrobiology often deploys remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV) for aquatic surveys when it may not be feasible or safe to send commercial divers. We have ROV pilots based in our Singapore and Australia offices who are active in numerous projects in both freshwater and marine environments.
The ROV enables live monitoring in real time for underwater surveys. Our ROV capabilities include working for several hours in deep waters of up to 100m depth, assisting with the daily operation and maintenance of industrial vessels, performing biodiversity surveys in deep marine and freshwater systems, live monitoring of underwater deployments, and the assessment of bed conditions when such information is limited or unavailable.
