Happy ‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science’! Hydrobiology is proud to have a 50% female workforce of women from a diversity of backgrounds including Singapore, France, Brazil, Mauritius, Vietnam, Philippines, New Zealand, UK and Australia. We are Ecologists, Geomorphologists, Ecotoxicologists and Environmental Chemists, just to name a few, and have contributed to cutting-edge science in our fields. We have trekked through jungles, frozen at the poles and kept our lunch down on rolling ships, all for the love of science. As a scientific organisation that upholds the UN Sustainability Goals, Hydrobiology continues to value and support our female employees and work towards future where women and girls the world over are given the opportunity to embrace the STEM disciplines.
