November 10th marked the United Nations ‘World Science Day for Peace and Development’, which collectively celebrates the important role of science and science communication for sustainable societies. For us at Hydrobiology, this day reminds us of the need to apply our best scientific methods into our environmental risk assessment work, develop sustainable solutions that meet the needs of today’s society and those of future generations, and clearly communicate scientific outcomes in meaningful ways.
We are deeply respectful of the international cultures that we are very fortunate to work with and the scientific insights we learn along the way, as we do our best to ensure that our work contributes to peace and conflict resolution.
