Floating Solar (FPV) is a rapidly-developing form of renewable energy that is being implemented in many parts of the world. As with other renewable energy development projects there are also environmental impacts to consider. Hydrobiology has a growing portfolio of FPV projects in south east and central Asia where we apply our bespoke skills in primary data collection, remote-area fieldwork and scientific impact assessment to international performance and safeguards standards. Our technical work aside, it’s a great opportunity and privilege to have the opportunity to learn from the people and cultures we meet along the way.
