Hydrobiology is proud to support McConnell Dowell with their construction of a 2.4km jetty and loading facility at the BCI Minerals Mardie Salt and Potash project in the Pilbara. Since January, we have mobilized a team of marine fauna observers to ensure compliance against state and federal conditions to mitigate for marine fauna during construction activities. Our team of observers are leaders within their discipline in Australia and beyond, holding between 5 and 15 years’ experience each in marine fauna mitigation, and in-depth knowledge of the ecology and biology of marine fauna species in WA as well as a working knowledge of the relevant environmental legislation, contributing to their conservation.
