On Friday 4 November 2022, the WA Fire and Emergency Services (WAFES) held its annual ‘Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards’ event.
Hydrobiology was one of the recognised 67 businesses and self-employed volunteers from across the State.
Hydrobiology was nominated by Canning South Perth State Emergency Service and Mapping and Planning Support WA Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services member; James Keating. Phil Whittle (Director- Hydrobiology WA) accepted the award on behalf of Hydrobiology.
The Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards acknowledge the important role employers and self-employed volunteers play in the delivery of emergency services across Western Australia, where more than 95 percent of emergency services personnel are volunteers.
