We’re proud to share that Dr Frances Alexander (Senior Scientist- Environmental Risk Assessment) at Hydrobiology, recently presented at the “2025 Dorothy Hill Symposium” at The University of Queensland, St Lucia.
Frances’ presentation, “AI in Industry”, explored how artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work, what this means for students and universities, and how we can use these tools effectively; without losing the essential skills that make us adaptable, insightful, and employable.
The session sparked a lively discussion between attendees and fellow presenters, with many valuable perspectives shared on the evolving role of AI in Environmental Science and beyond!
A sincere thank you to UQ and the organisers of the Dorothy Hill Symposium for hosting such an inspiring event that celebrates Women in Environmental Science.
