Earlier this week, Hydrobiology was excited to attend the UQ GEMS – Geography and Environmental Management Society ‘Career Conversations: Insights into Graduate Opportunities’ Industry Event for 2024. Hydrobiology was well represented by our amazing Team of professionals; Amanda Sillman (QLD Lead- Business Promotions & Culture), Nicole Wheeler (Senior Scientist | Geomorphologist- Land & Water Management Team) and Yannis Tse (Administration Assistant).
The event was a very valuable networking opportunity to meet with UQ Students and other Industry Representatives; allowing Hydrobiology to further assist by sharing our ‘real life’ experiences, career advice and guidance, to help young professionals grow their opportunities and expand their horizons in the environmental consulting services industry.
Overall this event was a great success, allowing Hydrobiology to continue to be a proud sponsor of UQ GEMS; supporting the amazing work they do and to furthermore showcase our award winning expertise and experience in Environmental Consulting!
