Hydrobiology Singapore recently took part in the Public Utilities Board (PUB) Green Run second category between 18th September to 31st October 2021. An initiative under the National Parks Board’s OneMillionTrees’ movement. Hydrobiology Singapore and Australia took part in the 3KM FAMILY run, which is a non-competitive category that provides families with a fun and engaging way to bond with each other. This also encourages and teaches everyone the importance of environmental awareness, charitable giving, and healthy living.
This year’s edition will see 10 dollars per participant donated to the Nature Society (Singapore’s) role in the rewilding effort, enhancing the natural habitat along the Rail Corridor, improving its ecological connectivity, and cooling the area for recreational users.
Hydrobiology would like to thank PUB and NParks for this wonderful event and we look forward to such events/collaborations in the future!
