Not every day at Hydrobiology looks the same!
While some projects start behind a desk, many begin in the field, where our scientists are collecting the data that drives informed environmental decisions.
The quality of environmental decisions depends on the quality of the data behind them. That’s why our specialised field teams are regularly working in rivers, wetlands, lakes, and other freshwater environments, gathering the critical information needed to support approvals, compliance requirements, impact assessments, and environmental management programs.
Using specialised field equipment; including water quality sondes, GPS mapping tools, aquatic sampling gear, and ecological survey equipment – our scientists are collecting accurate, defensible data in challenging field conditions!
Whether we’re assessing aquatic habitats, monitoring water quality, conducting fish and macroinvertebrate surveys, or evaluating ecosystem health, we combine technical expertise with practical field experience to deliver reliable, science-based outcomes for our clients.
When projects require trusted environmental data, we’re ready to get our boots wet.
