Hydrobiology is excited to announce and welcome our newest Team Member- Brad Hiles! Brad has joined Hydrobiology as our Principal Aquatic Scientist, within our Ecology & Biodiversity Management (EBM Team)
Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years of experience working as an Aquatic Ecologist, with considerable experience managing and leading Ecological Surveys; conducted within diverse freshwater, estuarine, and coastal landscapes spanning Australia and Papua New Guinea! Brad’s proficiency encompasses various standard Ecological and Physicochemical Habitat Evaluation Methods, Water Quality real-time Telemetry Stations and Sediment Assessments.. (and he doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty while undertaking some really cool field work adventures along the way!)
Furthermore, Brad has a solid foundation in analysing ecological data via univariate and multivariate methodologies and over the years has prepared numerous reports including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), reviews and development of Management Plans, Receiving Environmental Monitoring Programs (REMP) and Ecological Health Assessments, AusRivAs Modelling, as well as Water and Sediment Quality Sampling (in accordance with NAGD).
We are beyond thrilled to have Brad come on board our ‘Hydrobiology Ship’ and are looking forward to him ‘diving’ into this next adventure with us!
