Hydrobiology is enhancing its reputation for developing and producing environmental guidelines for Government and industry in a range of key areas.
Recently we have been assisting The Department of Environment and Energy to develop a guidance document for Site-Specific Guidelines and Monitoring of Physical and Chemical Parameters for the Independent Expert Scientific Committee on Coal Seam Gas and Large Coal Mining Development (IESC). Elsewhere we are part of a team that is developing Streambank, In-channel and Riparian Rehabilitation Guidelines for the Queensland Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy which are to provide best practice guidance for rehabilitation and restoration work. We have also been closely involved with the recent revision of the Australian and New Zealand Guidelines for Fresh and Marine Water Quality and are looking forward to their imminent release.
