Hydrobiology’s marine science team are excited to see the long-awaited Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Bill 2021 go before parliament this week. With up to 10 offshore wind farm (OWF) developments being scoped for Western Australia alone, it is an exciting time for all in marine environmental science, renewables and subsea energy industry. We are particularly happy to be able to pass this good news onto our own client as their own OWF development interests progresses in WA. Hydrobiology is proud to have our contribution in this sector recognised, recently being awarded the 2021 Australian Subsea Exporter of the Year Award for our work on OWF and floating solar here and overseas.
Small, but critical steps towards a net zero future and just like our industry partners and peers, our marine scientists and approvals specialists will be ready when the wind-farmers come to town.
